ADSS fiber optic wire is an non-metallica cable and it does not require a support or messenger wire. Mostly used on overhead power lines and/or poles and the self supporting design allows installations independent of other wires/conductors.
It is constructed with loose tubes which provide great mechanical properties under wider range of conditions such as crush test and impact test, and are filled withwater blocking gel.
With "Dual" sheath contructtion in ADSS fiber optic cable, it increases its crush resistence and max tension. Furthermore, aramid yarns have an excellecnt performance against high tension for aerial applications and aerial to duct transistions.
